Murk, who are we?

1992 - As a little 5y old girl, my parents took me traveling, to India. As amazing as that trip was, it also resulted in being acutely aware - at such a young age - of the disadvantages some people experience in life. People ask me all the time; ‘but what do you actually remember from that trip’?
It all made such an huge impact, so a lot.

I remember the conversation I had with my parents at the time about the cleaning lady (and her family) of the guesthouse we were staying at - why the daughter had to stay home and her little brother went to school.
There was only funds for education for 1 kid, so she lost that battle to the male in the family.
My mum paid her school fee’s for the whole year - and quite possibly changed that girl’s life.

I’m fairly certain that's when Murk’s first seed got planted.

Murk started with the purpose to educate mums with courses, tools & positive information to elevate our lives, financials & wealth.
